Q: How long does the battery last of the device? |

A: Depending on the amount of reported events programmed and the amount of times per hour reports are programmed to report, the battery life time is between three and eight days. |
Q: How much does it cost? |

A: R2495.00 VAT and delivery included. The price also includes web site and sim card activation and full support. |
Q: What other costs are involved? |
|
A: A 24 month Debit Order contract at R115.00 needs to be signed. This is to have 24/7 access to your personal Monitoring Portal on our web site. |
Q: Can one rent the device? |

A: Yes. Rental is R750.00 per week. This excludes airtime used during this period, but rarely exceeds R30.00. |
Q: Is the Smartlinq just a GPS device, or does it function as a cell phone as well? |

A: The SmartLinQ GPS Tracker is a Multi-Function Device. It can be used for GPS Tracking and to make and receive phone calls. It aslso has a Motion Censor and can be used a a “BUG” to listen in to conversations where-ever the device is placed. Please see SmartLinQ Features. |
Q: Is there any installation involved? |

A: No installation is involved. The device is supplied pre-loaded and activated with a registered sim card. A comprehensive Instruction and Operational Manual is supplied, and our Support Centre is available for assistance. |
Q: What is the size of the device in comparison to other cell phones/GPS devices? |

A: It is smaller than the smallest cell phone on the local market and one of the smallest 100% mobile GPS trackers available. |
Q: Does it work with all of the major cell phone networks? |

A: Yes. The SmartLinQ is a Quad-band cell phone as well and will operate and report from anywhere in the world. |
Q: Can you receive text messages on the device? |

A: No. The device has no keyboard or screen. It can only make and receive calls from four pre-defined numbers. |
Q: Is the device easy to operate? |

A: The SmartLinQ GPS Tracking and cell phone device is extremely user-friendly and is supplied with a comprehensive Instruction and Operational Manual is supplied, and our Support Centre is available for assistance. |
Q: Can one take pictures with the device? |
